Is there a story behind the name?There sure is! I was struggling with what to call the shop and one of my besties asked me what I love, so I thought about it and I love the month of April and the name so I went with that and I love my husband, Jamie - who is a rather large, hairy bear type and the name was born!
What can I say. It's exactly 4 weeks to go until I open in London at Pulse for my first ever trade show. What was I thinking? I blame dear Ellie from East End Press. She talked me into this as she decided to do it and alas, I somehow found myself agreeing to chum her.
Ok. So the title of this is perhaps misleading but hey, I do have an idea about what you could do with any baggage, emotional or otherwise, you may have. Pack it up in one of my totes and carry it around with you in this new hand drawn design. What more could you ask for?
Holographic foil is awesome right? I know there are plenty of fans out there as I get asked about it whenever I post a test pic on Insta stories.
I'd been waiting for the perfect range (more like perfect idea) to use it and when I unearthed this hand drawn font of mine from art school I knew I was onto something.
I recently launched a new neon foil collection of cards that came about after having a lightbulb moment whilst on the phone mid conversation. How had I never thought of it before? Who knows, but it's one of those things that I love about working and conversing with people instead of spending days in the studio alone.
